Growing up, my family had an automatic dishwasher…Dear Mama’ said “Do the dishes!” and I would automatically do them…

I tried to use that distinction when I was assigned to wash dishes. It did not work then, either.

I think I will print and frame this one – Val being an adult and a mom. Wow, who would have thought?

One of the first lessons a teenager learns is to do crappy job of something and never be asked to do it again. HA!!

A job half done is still a job. A job half described will never be finished.

You cannot let them wear you down with poor performance. It’s about “getting things right”, not saving time.
