Actually, Metamucil is a fiber content so he’ll be constipated. Better take her to the vet, now! Reason I know this is when my dog had the diarrhea the vet told me to get fiber pills to give her. I questioned this and she stated that fiber stops you up!

I have a lot of fiber but it wasn’t enough. So I wanted to try Metamucil, but it interferes with my heart medication. So now what do I do?

This brings to mind a recent Chuck Lorre vanity card: “My dog’s bowel movements are incredibly important to me — Perhaps more important than my own. I’m not sure if this is a sign of mental decline or spiritual growth.”

That is pretty much what people do. Our dogs have a job – they guard our home, they give lots of love, they love to play with us, they relax us and they make us get off of our butts and exercise.
