This ACTUALLY happened to me (or at least something like it): me (tall skinny college geek w/glasses) scores date with stunning, sexy older woman. We go to a very popular roadhouse/rock bar. Watching the area’s best rock band play. Drunken lout stumbles into me as I’m standing next to my date with a fresh pitcher of beer in my hand, knocking me into her and spilling nearly the entire contents of the pitcher down her back. I offered – then insisted – she take MY clean/dry shirt, go to the ladies’ room, dry herself, and wear my shirt. She wouldn’t…and I think you can imagine how the rest of THAT evening went (not to mention the prospects for another date)…sigh…good ol’ days, hanging out in college bars full of amateur drunks…
