I don’t play online games. Come to think of it my new phone has no games. If I’m in the mood for a game, I’ll fire up the lap top and waste a few hours on there.
I was a paying member on this site for years, but then they dropped a bunch of the Classics and were rude to me when I wrote to complain, so I didn’t renew. So far, the ads are not sufficiently annoying to make me want to start paying again.

Just buy the ad free games, ya’ll have wasted more money on lessor entertainment. And sadly, some games you can’t purchase without ads.

I have a rule for websites: If my ad blocker picks up fewer than five ads on a page, I’ll shut it off. I don’t play games at all.

Remember, if you’re not paying for it (and even if you are) you are the product, not the consumer. “First one’s free.” said the cartoon drug dealer.

So you’re still playing the game, in a sense.

Ads have gotten completely out of hand everywhere. Tv, phone, even these comics pages. All designed to bully people into paying.
