Some write it as July 20. Others as 20th July. Some write today’s date as 20/7/24. It can also be written as 20/07/2024, 7/20/24 or 07/20/2024.
I remember that during the last month of my 1976-7 school year, I wrote 7 July 1977 down as 7.7.77. I enjoyed doing that. I cannot remember 6.6.66 as I was not born until 15.12.66.
On the computer, in file names in particular, I use 240720. For everything else I follow the pattern I picked up in the military… 20 Jul 24. I’ll be long dead before the two digit year becomes a problem again… 8^/
