If that jerk still read newspapers as Andy is doing, he would have lost his newspaper in the canal as well. That would, of course, have been cheaper than losing his iphone.

Shouldn’t it be: "Why aren’t you looking at your flipping phone and “not” bothering me ?

To be fair, if you drop the newspaper in the canal, it also becomes useless.

Seems to be an epidemic around there of things falling in the canal.

Read about the Canals of Venice and how “gross” they are. And all the junk/garbage they once removed back in the 1950’s. Never know what you’re floating over. Not that you would want to know.

Note to self: don’t walk too close to canal with phone out.

Smartphones are nice, but I prefer to get my news from a newspaper.

The newspaper is free. Somebody left it at the pub earlier.
