I remember reading about someone who used a blowup doll for a rider. The doll reported to the police that he abused her at home.

I regularly drive with baseball caps over the headrest in the back seat. Regularly folks have thought I was carrying two extra riders in the back. Though, since I’m retired, I have little use for the carpool lane. Where is the carpool lane, anyway?

In DC this is called “slugging”.
