So-called food supplements may contain dangerous ingredients of their own or prevent your body from craving the general nutrition it needs. They are NOT regulated by the FDA and make many unproven claims based on small-scale or in vitro experiment results. CBD is just the latest example. Anecdotal evidence is not evidence.
