“Um, doc, can I buy a prescription for each of you and me? It seems like it will be a lot cheaper in the long run.” One week later: pills are $1 for a year’s supply.
ha! years ago i was prescribed a pill and when i went to pharmacy to pick it up – they only allowed me 30 pills for month, yet i was taking 4 a day – but for one a day, my prescription was $32,000!!! it was usually prescribed to cancer patients, but i was part of government study testing it with other diseases, i have diabetes, and the government ended up giving me the prescription for almost 3 years, until the agency disappeared one night…literally, the folks handling my prescription deliveries couldn’t find them, i couldn’t contact them (i had to report to their helpline as soon as delivered – it was that much a controlled substance) and my doctor’s office could not find them either…oh the drug is cesamet and contains THC

The people I’d like to take it can afford it.
And $200/pill isn’t bad compared to a lot of other meds.
