Man: I feel guilty. I left my shopping cart by my car today, instead of putting it in the cart corral. Woman: Since we're confessing, I got a dollar in the mail to answer a survey, but I threw away the survey and kept it. Man: At least when we die, we'll go to the same place.

I get junk mail with a nickel in it. I donāt feel guilty keeping it. Not much of a bribe. If they need money, why are they giving it out?

If you carefully place the cart next to (not in but at the neutral center of two face-to-face handicap spaces, not blocking access to either space or safe egress from the vehicle), it may be of use to somebody with mobility issues in getting into the store, especially if the cart corral is some distance from the handicap parking spaces as is usually the case. Blocking a space or in a position that may damage the vehicle on the other hand deserves being placed at the back of the cart corral and having a dozen carts forcefully slammed into you.

Hmmm. I thought sins were supposed to be more exciting and fun to commit.

Big difference in the two. Keeping unsolicited money mailed to you is your prerogative. You donāt owe them anything. Leaving your cart out in the way of other peopleās parking spot is, in my opinion, a self centered non caring act.

iām always impressed with the folks who are able to take their cart back to the ācorral,ā but unable to go the last inch and push the cart inside the others. if the folks working that shift arenāt on the ball you end up with a long string of carts that are just gently nudging each otherā¦ āŗ
