The Roman Catholic already does everything that is written in the comic. And has done so for 2000 years. The Holy Spirit, as one with the Father and the Son, as recorded in Sacred Scripture and words of Jesus: pronoun is Him. I speak with the authority of the Church as I am the only one here with an STM in Sacred Theology.

The first time I referred to the Holy Spirit as SHE, my Evangelical associate nearly spit out his coffee.
SHE is as good a pronoun as any. IT seems inappropriate.

Equality for women, an open an welcoming church, with mercy and forgiveness for all.
Really tough questions. Why would anyone want all of that stuff? (/s)
Personally, I think the church should request forgiveness for not providing all that for the last 2,000 years.

Francis gets it…the Church is there to serve its people. Ground up; not top down.
