Oh, oh! Misunderstandings by very young children trying to “help” end up being costly. Which is why my Mother, a teacher by profession, back in the 1980s would keep us playing in the backyard or the garden (which in one of our homes was walled high in the front). Only time she kept me in was when I was about 4 and the house we were renting had a very low gate in the front garden. My mother had a hack eye, she could be grading or doing something else in one end of the room, and if little me even got closer to the door, before I could turn the knob she would take me by the hand to my room and have me choose a toy to play with. Memories!
I don’t blame Kate! What’s the fun of learning anything on a tablet. I grew up with books, and do better by them. We bought a TV that didn’t come with a booklet on how to use it. It’s got more bells and whistles than what I’m use to. Trying looking online for what your looking for and it’s not there.
It’s cool how the table and background extend through multiple panels and the action is separated into those panels. And I like how just the sketch of the faucet lets us know they are at the kitchen table.
I’m surprised that tablet was so easy to break. These days most kids’ tablets have heavy rubber cases & screen protectors. If your tablet didn’t come with all that armor, you can get it online. It’s worth it!

My Katie also does this. If something is on the kitchen island, you will hear it hit the floor.

Not the break she’s looking for.

Good Floof. Save books, and destroy tablets. She is a library cat after all.

Proof that the world is not flat, otherwise the cats would have knocked everything off the edge.

Unfortunately, that isn’t the kind of break she was talking about, as they will find out when she returns!!
