This is really a story about small potatoes, Skilling, Lay, & Fastow were the masterminds here. You could have thrown a rock in almost any direction back then and hit business people related to W, This scandal and others of the time caused Sarbanes Oxley and many other regulations on the books now. Enron, Tycho, Worldcomm and others like them caused havoc to the lives of many thousands because of accounting loopholes which did not change until after this. Another American learning opportunity, probably wasted !

After this, no matter how much I disliked where I was working I could always say, “Well, at least it’s not Enron.”
