Probably dreaming about the cat next door.

Another strip from 1970 only because the strip from yesterday was originally from October 7, 1977 so the strip that follows is the National Jogging Day strip on the 8th. That, of course, wouldn’t fit today.

My pooch dreams. Sometimes she makes a noise like a bubble popping.

Especially chickens and turkeys.

It was the dream where Woodstock was a talented songbird in the far east. His singing was so beautiful that the emperor himself requested an audience. A mechanical version was built that could sing and everyone was impressed with that more than the original. Woodstock flew off into the woods and most forgot about him until Death came for the emperor. The mechanical version did nothing, but Woodstock came back and sang so beautifully that Death released its hold upon the emperor.

Yeah don’t coal miners use yellow canaries to test if there is poisonous gas in a new mine? Wonder where Woodstock heard that bird gossip?

NOT AGAIN! Well, I knew it that this is the second time this week a POLITICALLY INCORRECT or something like that strip would be replaced by a 1970 strip. This time it’s the 1977 strip that features Sally and Charlie Brown talking about National Jogging Day that gets replaced by a 1970 strip. I think National Jogging Day became National Running Day and it moved from October to June of each year so that is why its not suited for today’s world nowadays.

This 1970 strip that replaced a politically incorrect or something like that 1977 Peanuts strip ran previously in 2004 and again in 2017 – 2 1970 Peanuts strip rerun cycles!

Thank Heavens Snoopy was there so he could help Woodstock talk it out.

Birds have passed-down racial memories from eons ago. They occasionally crop up (LOL birds have crops) in their dreams. I suppose ‘pop up’ would be more fitting than ‘crop up’ but I wanted to make the feeble pun…

My cats dream.

Someday, that power will be harnessed to create the ultimate horror film. Until then, another Halloween reboot?
