Sometimes, if it isn’t kept updated, GPS can really mess up. I was going someplace with my brother, Daniel, once and his GPS told him that we were in the middle of an open field. Actually, we were on a newly constructed highway.
First time I used a GPS I was in an unknown city, it was very foggy, and it told me to turn east. What? I found someone who could give me real directions. I prefer paper maps.
Update on the bag that got tossed. Brad was in the garage this morning and making room for some paper towels he needs to get at CostCo tomorrow. On that bottom shelf (where I NEVER EVER look for anything because it’s HIS stuff) was a spare littler box. It’s a big one with a big dome top upside down in the box. (I haven’t used it in a long time because I use smaller ones for the foster kittens) And there was my tote. I’m thrilled to have it back but annoyed at him because he said he looked everywhere. And again, I never bother with that shelf. It’s where he puts his giant packages of towels and this was behind one of those. I really don’t care that I spent a bunch of money on replacing my makeup and other things. I’m too happy having my bag back to be upset about that.
A few years ago Google maps had me wandering around in the dark looking for a non existent entrance at the back of a property while my phone battery was almost depleted. I had maybe 2 hours sleep at the Airbnb I was looking for, when I finally found it, and then had to act like I was enjoying my birthday holiday with family even though I ended up paying for almost everything. The app told me the entrance was in the back.. I could have just looked at the address.. the bus stopped right in front of my destination. I learned the hard way that day to download the Airbnb app for better communication.
Could have been worse. At least the GPS didn’t lead him off a cliff. On another note, saw a robin, a chickadee, a Steller’s jay, and a junco while out walking today.

There’s a town a county over where not even the GPS can figure it out. Almost no road signs either.

NATIONAL SECONDHAND WARDROBE DAY. I wear my clothes to death so everything I have looks second hand now.

Hightail it out of there, Chesney! The GPS is toying with you.

Chesney, come home. You’re making Annie fret unnecessarily.

It looks as if he won’t be talking to his poppa, but maybe Joseph, Inèz, and Estelle.
