My pudders love a fresh load of clothes out of the dryer. I can set the basket down, to go put in another load, they’re already in there snuggling up when I get back.
I do load of clothes. When done I put the load in the dryer. At same time I either put in a second load of clothing or a load of towels. Basically wear the same clothes or at least type of same, week to week so why some weeks it one load & other weeks 2 loads – cannot fathom. I could understand that sometimes need a load of sweatshirts when I have worn several of mine over several weeks which is 3rd load, but my tee shirts, underwear, & husband shirts & underwear if 7 days worth each time should be the same volume of laundry. Then part of it made sense – in the winter I wear long sleeve tees & rest of the year short sleeves could that be difference? If need a third load for the towels they get done the next night + a bedding load.
Well last week did the load of clothes. While the machine runs sit in the kitchen – go online on this laptop as I do most nights. This way I can hear through the door to the basement if the machine goes off load and needs to be stopped & laundry readjusted in washer so it stops banging.
Went down when time to switch loads. WHAT A MESS! WATER on the floor. Texted husband to come down. He came down.

Personally, I much prefer folding clothes that have just gotten done drying…I like the feeling of warmth they give off, even during the summer :0)

Ah yes, looking way too cute while keeping the dirty clothes warm; very important duty indeed!

What’s the striped cat’s name? I can’t find it anywhere. Is it (m or f) a pal, rival, or relative of Peekaboo’s?

It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it.
