2002 movie “Max” with John Cusack. It’s 1919 in Berlin and wealthy art dealer Max Rothman sees something in the work of a poor, troubled young veteran worth cultivating. A veteran himself, Rothman takes the young Adolf Hitler under his wing for a time. It’s fiction, speculative but plausible, and it’s an interesting treatment of Hitler’s artistic aspirations (and disappointments).
Mixed reviews, didn’t make back its production costs at the box office, but I enjoyed it.

So the world war apparently didn’t affect latte production. Good war.

Yeah, in some alternate universe, Adolph Hitler was a famous painter and some guy named Donald Trump owns the Buffalo Bills.
