Candace may be a “false friend”, but I’m sure she’s aware that Elizabeth is acting very immaturely. Perhaps an intervention by an uninvolved third party (Miss Edwards. maybe?) could clear the air.
Sorry Liz. but Candace with her fancy hairstyle and her expensive red designer clothes, is probably thinking your stuck up “hmmph!” just means that her designer clothes happen to cost at least a couple hundred dollars or more than what Liz is wearing!

It seems, guys have a “code of honor,” in these situations. It’s considered very wrong to date the ex girlfriend of a friend. As long as the friend wasn’t responsible for the breakup, I never understood what the issue was, but, it never happened to me, and i was never involved, so, I guess, I may not have the total grasp. But, Candace definitely doesn’t subscribe to that theory, apparently.
