That is so funny!

Purely speculation on my part.

Judging by the difference between Eric Alee and Scott Stantis cartoons (elsewhere), perhaps this is an intervention by Scott.

That is, I get the feeling that Eric pretty much does whatever he wants with this strip. But maybe, this Trump/Vance thing is so bad that Scott demanded Eric introduce this new character.

Not to mention, direction for the strip.

(What direction you may ask? History to this point is, for every “hit” at Trump, expect maybe a week or more “hits” on the current Democrat. Years was the case with Hillary.

I was fully expecting (1) something about Kamala or Walz or (2) often, PC is non-political on Saturday.

Oh, and the “It’s not true” bit about the couch – oh well, it’s funny!

That thing with the couch was not JD Vance. It was James Donald Bowman.

Or maybe one of his other names.
