Marcie’s parents are happy to advocate Father Xmas, the Easter Bunny, the tooth-fairy, etc., but have a problem with the Great Pumpkin…

Pumpkin patches don’t usually have so many leaves, though.

Where’s Linus’ parents? Well, he is hard to deal with. I mean, he still uses his security blanket, and you know the parents tried to end that habit—unsuccessfully.

At least Linus learned absolutely nothing from this. Better luck next year.

Unwavering faith in the face of evidence to the contrary is a hallmark of childhood. Like the eight year old who clings to the belief of Santa Claus. Not so appealing as an adult behavior, IMHO.

I did think when Marcie said “I’ve decided I need something to believe in” that the fact she wasn’t a true believer already might have been too insincere for the ol’ GP.

The GP didn’t come because it heard Marcie say, “Great Grape”. The GP will not be mocked !
