Old stoves are worth a fortune, I went to a yard sale once and I saw my ex boss and his wife on my way in. They were so excited about buying an antique stove. While I was there, they had water rams. Wish I bought one

If its worn out, he should buy her a new one.

He’s not cooking. Why is he complaining? Should be up to her. And he should be careful. That ladle leaves a mean scar.

He should be in a war museum!

She’s preparing a War Crime Meal?

My stove helped me through The Battle of the Beets last week. I harvested the beets from the garden and made pickles. There was “blood” everywhere!

He better be careful what he says. Probably HE bought it for her.

He must think that every meal is a battle.

She looks as if she should be put in a war museum. Not that I’m judging.

He looks like he has been well provisioned.

That doesn’t look anything like an M59 Field Stove.

Well cheapskate buy her a new one……….

Perhaps he’s referring to the stove as being a war crime in her hands?

If it works, why replace it with something so Internet-connected a hacker could turn it on remotely and burn your house down? :) (Rhetorical question)

(sigh) I’m of the mind that says “If it’s still working, keep it.” My new wife is more “If it’s old and not working perfectly and might break down soon, replace it.” (sigh) We have quite a few new things now. I love her so much.

And you, sir, will soon be in a war cemetery…

New appliances come with built-in planned obsolescence. Old appliances are eternal. If you have one, hang on to it! And never, EVER buy “Kenmore” ANYTHING.

It’s got a few war wounds.

Those coil stoves will outlast the glass topped ones easily, I still have mine, the only ones that are older are Fred Flintstone’s.

You might consider buying her a new one. Not for her birthday or wedding anniversary but just because it might prevent the next war
