    Light travels faster than anything else, so he focuses on the other end of the pool. He’s so fast you can’t see him blink.

    Optic nerves cross before the brain. Now I know we are all friends here and should just laugh at the silly but if the first thing that one thinks is ‘what a minute, what is that supposed to be’ it takes away from the whole thing. Swimmers wonder how that thing swims, referees wonder how it got there, that sort of thing. Difficult, I know.
