Here’s a tip for those who own a Samsung phone. You don’t need to hit the picture button. Hold your palm up in front of the phone and move it. The phone will count down from 3 seconds and take the pic. This can be especially useful if you’re using a selfie stick.

And if it doesn’t happen, what are the consequences?

Turn. The phone. Sideways.
