Just a continuation of Scott Stantis’ reprehensibly DISHONEST theme from yesterday, FALSELY accusing Kamala Harris of avoiding questions, when she is taking questions from reporters at every stop, in numerous hard-hitting news interviews, on “60 Minutes,” in Town Halls, and in every format of TV talks show from morning feel-good shows to late night humor.

She accepted a debate offer from CNN and when Trump was too chicken to face her after she mopped the floor with him the last time, she did the Town Hall by herself. Kamala Harris even went into the lion’s den of Faux “News,” knowing that Brett Baier would interrupt her, cut her off, talk over her, bully her and try to “mansplain” to someone far smarter than he will ever be.

In contrast, Trump has canceled event after event, backed out of his “60 Minutes” interview (something no major party candidate since the show started in 1968 has been so chicken to do, refuses to debate and refused CNN’s offer of a Town Hall after he chickened out of a second debate with Harris. Not only was he too chicken to do a CNN Town Hall, HE COULD NOT EVEN LAST THROUGH MORE THAN A FEW MINUTES OF HIS OWN TOWN HALL fielding questions from pre-selected supporters. He took five minutes and, afraid to continue, decide to turn his town hall into his musical play list, with everything from “Ave Maria” to the gay anthem of “YMCA,” standing on stage and swaying back and forth, but taking no more questions. Hello!? The whole point of a town hall is to take questions.

Kamala can do it, contrary to Stantis’ massive LIE — why can’t Donald?

Duck and Cover Kamala Harris is following Joe Biden’s example, she prefers to hide.

I keep wondering what some of the commenters are going to do, win Trunp wins the election? Will they be OK? Will 911 need to be called? Will they be arrested for some heinous crime against our democracy? Only time will tell.

The dynamic that is in place is Harris is expected to provide policy detail in minutiae. But, don’t get too wonky. Appear cheerful, but don’t laugh. Show “toughness”, but don’t be shrill. Appeal to the progressive wing of her party, but bring in disaffected GOP folks. Answer for all Biden’s “faults”, but receive no credit for his successes.

Meanwhile, the GOP candidate can provide his “outrage(s) of the day”. He provides no policy detail, disavowing the only thing related to policy “Project 2025”. He can pretend his disastrous first term never happened and be fed softball questions by sycophantic media/town halls. And for the coup de grace, claim he’s not close to 80 years old. All because it’s “Trump being Trump” and if you dare reproach him, you have TDS or are the “enemy within”.

Here’s the reality:

Harris answers questions. BUT she NEVER answers the questions ASKED, only the ones she WISHES she had been asked (not that uncommon a trope among politicians, mind you), in environments where the questions are pre-screened (see the latest “town hall” as an example—Maria Shriver pointedly stated that all questions were already pre-approved and no unsolicited questions would be allowed by the audience, and even CNN took her to task openly for her failings in that “event”).

You can call Stantis a “liar” on a technicality, but that doesn’t resolve the fact that BOTH major candidates are total garbage that don’t belong anywhere near the White House.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.
