At least they didn’t wait until you had gotten interested in the show after a few episodes and then cancel it. Cancelled favorite shows and menu items at restaurants are the story of my life. I swear, they find out I like it and cancel it!
The rule should be: If the network ordered 15 shows, and 15 were recorded, they should run ALL 15 before finalizing decisions to cancel, Just my penny….
Ever since every show has become a soap opera where you can’t miss an episode, I have lost interest in watching any in real time. If they last long enough, I will get the DVDs or Stream it.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing. You can start watching it knowing that it will only go so far, and be mentally prepared to see that as a complete work. It beats becoming invested in an ongoing story and having that stop abruptly.

Try MeTV or TVLand, Leroy. They have some great oldies—back when TV was good!

Yeah. If they’re not going to leave them on for more than two or three episodes, why do they put them on to begin with?

I haven’t found any new shows I want to see, so it doesn’t matter if they get cancelled.

I pulled out an old Lockhorn book from the 70’s I had in my collection. It’s almost hard to read the way the husband and wife insult each other!

Viewership is all that matters to the streaming platform, excellent show but low numbers means goodbye.

Leroy hasn’t seen the new Matlock that’s already been renewed for a second season

Probably a sign they weren’t worth watching.

Ah yes, the “Microsoft Method.” We end-of-life apps before they even get off the ground.
