Reminds me why I left New York

And pre-election anxiety!

post Halloween depression means there is no more candy left and your dentist appointment is tomorrow afternoon

I still love November – and living in New England!

……and another day in the neighborhood.

In the South, our grass is green, leaves are just starting to turn, and it’s in the 80s. We’ll get about 10 days of fall around Thanksgiving, then it will be winter.

Just remember… Thanksgiving is coming! That’s the light at the end of November.

Poor Wiz! His spirits really needed lifting.

The Count has post Halloween depression, too. But still… all the left over Halloween candy eases the pain.

It’s not “Post Halloween” it’s “Brown Season” …although they do tend to coincide.

November is good for pot roasts, warm throws, coming in out of the cold and getting warm, hot chocolate, warm chocolate chip cookies, hot tea while watching the weather outside, mellow sunshine (when you can get it), the smell of roasting poultry, warm covers with a cool breeze from a slightly-open window, walking through crunchy fallen leaves, being very quiet in the forest preserves and see if you see deer seeking a mate, watching the sullen clouds and letting your melancholy write a story…all KINDS of things!

Reminds me why I left New Jersey in July 1990. Missed the storm of the century during the Winter of 1990.

Id has sidewalks?

Yep, Flori-DUH. Wonderful place with 95+ Temps 11 1/2 months of the year with hurricanes, idiot northern drivers, fascist politicians. What is not to like?
