NATIONAL FORGET-ME-NOT DAY. National Forget-Me-Not Day on November 10th reminds Americans of the sacrifices returning soldiers have made of body, blood, and limb. Created in 1921, the day reminds Americans that National Forget-Me-Not Day originally raised funds for services for returning injured soldiers. At the time, the existing hospitals were insufficient to support the numbers of returning disabled veterans.
Wonderful Poem. Looks like Mr. Tubbs will have to stay on his diet. What a sneaky kitty. On another note, saw six varied thrushes and two wrens while out walking today.
