I was halfway across town when I discovered my wallet was still on my desk and not in my pocket! So now I have started attaching my starter/key to my wallet. (it’s a chained wallet)

I’d never really lost things, always put them in the right place. But I’ve gotten the first sign of old age lately, losing my bankcard the other day, and haven’t found it again. So blocked it and ordered a new one.

have a place for everything and be sure to put things away when you are done with them and you won’t have to waste time looking for them.

I remember an very old Family Circus strip where Billy said he didn’t see any of the presents in the closet. I remain impressed how well my parents kept the presents from ‘Santa’ hidden from us all those years.

Pray that she remembers to go shopping for the gifts. And pray that she can’t remember where the schoolbook or clothing stores are.

Mom used to find gifts months later all of the time where she had actually forgotten them. We always did a LOT of Easter eggs, and I could never understand why she couldn’t remember where they were. Every year we would miss some (never the hard-boiled ones, just the candy ones). The dogs were to blame for some, but not all. Fast forward to me hiding eggs and I figured it out. When I say a LOT I mean we did hundreds. There is no way anyone could keep track of that many.
