I’m so glad I was raised in a home free of that stuff, never got into drugs, etc. There was a lot of peer pressure to do a lot of things that could do serious damage to your health in the 70s (and 60s when I was too young but impressionable), and even many “experts” in psychology and behavior thought that it was just normal and healthy for teens to rebel and do things like that.
