My favorite coworkers were the ones who were actually working. And doing their work propperly so we others did not have to “clean up” after them the next day.
My wife and I took a cruise. On the deck where we were staying was a coffee maker that could do any variety of coffees. It would no fit in my suitcase.
When did slop become Coffee? First day in military 1964 (Not saying which branch), I learned why they called the Coffee MUD. 20 years later they called the Coffee MUD. My Dad was in WW11 from beginning to it’s end (he enlisted 1940) and he called it MUD. I think they got coffee making from Chester on Gunsmoke. Use same coffee grounds and toss a little fresh grounds on top.

It’s true for many. Their second favorite coworker is the soda machine. I and others swilled cola all shift.

Anyone — or anything — that doesn’t create drama or other issues and gives me a boost when I need it is up there on my list.

Better bad work coffee than bad co-workers.
