So there…that explains all the leftover Pecan Roll in the house!

Memories of Stuckey’s.

Saw the signs a million times but we never got one.

So now you know. He’s a stand-up comic. Not a good one, though.

Maybe not so embarrassing Toby, a lot of hands were raised.

Why couldn’t he just be a garbage man?

This is a strip where I’m completely lost.

Why would Tobys dad tell something about his career? What is a pecan roll? Why is it mentioned together with a family road trip? Why is Toby sitting there while Larry is on the stage? Why is the rest of the audience all adults? Why is Tobys Pecan Roll of significance to them? And so on …

I think that Toby’s situation is sad. I was proud of what my father did for a living: U. S. Navy!
