Today is Saint Andrew’s Day and also Brian Basset’s birthday. Happy birthday, Brian.

Saint Andrew was one of Jesus’s disciples. He and Saint Peter were the two main disciples. Saint Andrew is said to have been crucified on a diagonal cross and he is the Patron Saint of Scotland. The Scottish flag has Saint Andrew’s Cross on it.

I love the position of Rover’s back legs. Anyone who knows dogs knows that means he’s leaning into Red as hard as he can.
