It’s been tradition for the last 22 years to have a winning record and partake in a bowl game (currently the longest stretch in college football)… however with this fickle coach’s philosophies, the tradition has ended this season.
I tutored athletes in college. It was a waste of time for all concerned. They were not interested in academics and I was just a prop used by the athletic department to “prove” that it was.
And with the post-game shenanigans in the OSU-Michigan game, chippiness in the Iron Bowl, and other instances of tension between rivals all day, this strip became instantly obsolete.
I’m a grad of a Big ten school (Michigan). Frankly I’ve lost track of what team is at what position and who’s likely to come out on top. Splitting the conference in two could create two conferences by themselves. Notre Dame has the right idea. Be independent, create a schedule you want and be beholden to no one. I’m an old guy with my old ideas so I accept time marches on and I’m the parade’s spectator. Any way…GO BLUE!
No, Janis, the whole 4 panels make zero sense, especially the last where Arlo breaks into a smile (after pi$$ing and moaning in the first 3) and declares college football a “Thanksgiving tradition”.

I hear the B1G (Ten) Conference is talking to Oxford, Imperial College, Edinburgh and The Sorbonne for joining in 2028.

I’m sure Arlo’s thinking about today’s Iron Bowl. I think when JJ penned his thoughts Auburn’s hopes were not as high as they now stand. Go Tigers!
