Walt Disney is looking down in sadness at the woke disaster Disney Corp has become.

People celebrate that sort of thing, but they tend to “be themselves” in ways that are a lot like everyone else of their generation. Often it comes in the form of just being weird in a way that’s actually popular — for awhile, anyway. Being truly, distinctly unique and sticking with it is hard, but if it’s genuine you can’t help it and it comes with an indescribable feeling that let’s you know it’s not just the only way you can be, it’s the way you were meant to be.

Like the old cliche’ “You can’t be a nonconformist without the uniform.”

Of course, Disney got his start right here in Kansas City. A false start, it turned out.
