You’ve got to implement “Tough Love”. Say “SCOOT!” as you brush her with your hand from that spot. If THAT doesn’t work, you pick her up and do it manually! Nobody takes MY seat! LOL

With three cats inside, I seldom, of ever have a comfortable chair or sofa to sit in especially in the winter.

I always just scooped up the still curled-up cat and placed him/her somewhere else, or on my lap. It usually worked… ☺

I just pick up whoever it is and sit down. Four out of five will climb onto my lap. The fifth will curl up beside me.

I say “OFF!” and give the hiney a little tap.

Cat turns head toward my fingers and gives me a threatening “hssss!”

I sit on chair edge and begin relentlessly sliding on seat toward chair back.

My rear end contacts cat, who finally jumps off chair just before being crushed (I outweigh him by over 150 lbs, and he’s learned from experience he can’t stave off my push onto the space where he lies).

I get comfy in my chair.

Cat hops up on me and gets comfy in my lap.

    Till next time.
