I just heard our weather forecast for the weekend. Everyone around here is likely to turn just as blue as Chesney this weekend as our wind chills dip below zero.
BUY NOTHING DAY. Buy nothing on Black Friday? That makes no sense. Well, I don’t plan on buying anything today, but a lot of people will buy stuff today.
I’ll have a blue blue Thanksgiving without youuu…..
Not to worry, Bluebell. He’ll soon warm up (see the steam rising in 1st frame) and be back to his gorgeous orange color. I think someone needs a really warm coat, gloves, scarf, cap and intelligence injection for an early Christmas gift.
I’ll bet Lil’ Oliver will give him a loving, warm hug too. Ahhhh, we’d all welcome a hug from our Ollie.
My Thanksgiving in Connecticut was (mostly) a happy one. Seeing my grand-cat, Plopper Cat, in a diaper, roaming around to be near his dad, Chris, and mom, my daughter Farah, was a 1st. I tend to think he wanted to hear their voices. He usually stayed by himself until company departs. His companion, my daughter’s calico, Callie, won’t let him approach her – she hisses. So sad. She knows something is not right with her mate.
We video chatted with Mark twice (Oregon). He had the nicest, long video-chat with Farah’s F-I-L. The in-laws really missed his presence. I packed up lots of leftovers to freeze for him.
Leaving shortly for home. This hotel serves a fabulous breakfast buffet. It’s only 2 miles down the road from F + C’s house. So convenient.
If I know my kitties, they’ll welcome me with meows, + rubs and then guide me to their breakfast stations. Lol. I can only guess what the place looks like if they had their usual Zoomies over all the furniture.
Poor Chez is still cold? Stressful drive to LA yesterday – low tire pressure light came on when I was miles away from civilization. Tire gauge showed them all at 25 pounds. Stopped every few miles to double check I didn’t have a flat until I reached a gas station. Put 10 pounds of air in all and double checked again half hour later. Came through a 10 mile construction zone where the lane lines were mostly invisible – how is this allowed on a 4 lane freeway? 4 hour drive took 6, but had a nice visit with my sister and her grandson. Dreading the drive home.

I’m asking. Bluebell times two?
One looks like Chesney, the other looks like Oliver.

He ran into Gainsborough, who painted him. Not a portrait of him, him.

Ciao Gordon, my name is Giusy. Don’t be surprised I noticed your absence and looked for you. You are a pleasant person and commenter. ☺️
Do you pronounce it “Guysy” ? …Otherwise it looks like a real tongue twister. LOL :-) I enjoy your talk too, Giusy.

Now they are twins. (At least until Chesney thaws out.) On another note, saw four varied thrushes while out walking today.
