One year at Christmas while at work one guy came in all hyped up that they were selling eggnog at the grocery store so they sent one guy with money to buy four or five pints. I pitched my money in too. He gets back and two of them started drinking it when one guy said “Hey! This stuff doesn’t have any alcohol in it!” Which I knew. Talk about some sad faces. Anyhow, that’s how I wound up with four quarts all to myself.

We left for Vegas early yesterday morning and drove down to Wendys to grab breakfast. There was a group of wild turkeys on the sidewalk, just hanging out.My husband said there are some that hang out and wander around the back area of the high school where he works. It’s just down the street from where we saw the turkeys. I’ve seen them in the trees up in Zion NP (We live in Hurricane UT near there) but never, in the 20 years we’ve been here, have I seen them wandering around town.
