My folks were bike club people. At their wedding, instead of a limo they rode in a carriage pulled by a pair of Harleys.

One of our local funeral homes has motorcycle/hearse set-up for those that are so inclined.

Statistically, you’re something like 19 times more likely to die riding a motorcycle compared to driving a car. Still, there are quite a few of us old farts who have been riders for many years and survived, possibly because we had a serious respect for the potential for disaster.

I worked with a guy who rode a motorcycle, and he told me there are two types of motorcycle riders: those who have had an accident and those who haven’t yet had an accident.

They don’t call them ‘murdercycles’ for nothing.

I don’t ride, but my neighbor did until he got into a terrible accident. He was lucky to be able to keep his leg, and if he hadn’t been wearing a helmet, which is perfectly legal in New Hampshire, he would most likely have been killed.

When my son said he wants to buy a motorcycle I made him take a defensive riding course.

She should kill him for running around naked, since she wears clothes!

I’m 75 and still ride. Best touring there is.
