RJ would say that their shadows look like Twinkies.

We lived in Bangor for three years. About now, I’d send my son off to school and it was BLACK outside. Like midnight black. Then he’d come home and it was BLACK again. Like the kid was a cold-weather vampire.

The look exchanged by Spud and Amelia is priceless!

Their shadows made me think of the fingers of a hand.

I was thinking exactly the same thing about shadows at 3pm recently — but not, unfortunately, about snow forts.

I never want to live on the Eastern side of a time zone. Our sunset today is 5:11 PM EST and I can’t wait for Spring. It’s well into January before we can start to notice later sunsets.

The summer 8 p.m. dog walk is now a 4 p.m. dog walk with a flashlight, just in case.

The conditions for snow forts and snow men is perfect in my town right now, but by the time my granddaughter gets here it will be dark, darn it. There’s a cold snap coming this weekend but I guess we’ll just have to bundle up.

Fabulous artwork Will. Well beyond the ordinary cartoonist. Honestly, I think some of the artwork in Wallace is on par with Kelly and Harriman. It’s not just a comic strip it’s art in each panel and a place many of us would love to live.
