Small lower jar is one of the signs that the child is from parents with alcohol abuse. It is mostly the mother during pregnancy, but can also be the father in the weeks before conception. The last is proven, but there are only very few trials compared with those blaming it on the mothers only.

Medicine is a male science, too, where women still are subdued as scientists and as objects of health research.

Now that’s what I call a Huge family.

I find the non-animal strips less enjoyable. But I do like that the author took time to make all of the diagrams look like tree diagrams. It’s a detail that’s appreciated.
