“One of the most striking differences between a cat and a lie is that a cat has only nine lives.”
“The most outrageous lies that can be invented will find believers if a man only tells them with all his might.”
“The glory which is built upon a lie soon becomes a most unpleasant incumbrance. . . . How easy it is to make people believe a lie, and how hard it is to undo that work again!”
As the population increases, so does the number of not-so-optimum personalities. The platform is now global, and the power they have from those that swear by them is impressive yet discouraging.
We seem to have lowered the bar on our tolerance for idiots. At one time such people would have been dismissed out of hand. Now one of them will be inaugurated President on Jan 20th. I will be wearing a Black Arm Band in mourning for my nation on that day.
Sorry Aunty, but I would disagree. All you have to do is go to any vehicle forum and you will find that the number of idiots are increasing. That is shown to be true when you have people complaining about things like having to clean their back up camera lens cover after it rains.

“A lie can travel halfway round the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” – often attributed to Mark Twain, but is true nonetheless.
