Is it just me, or is that too much house for one person?

eww! did the big ole doggy leave me a present?

van Hoogstraten is a heck of a moniker.

See! I told you we were the first people in Amsterdam with a tumble dryer!

It looks like she has a front-loader washing machine built into the wall behind her. I can’t remember the last time I saw one of those in a 17th century painting.

“Calls itself’Amsterdam‘s finest laundromat’, and half the dryers are broken?”

And 3 seconds later he peed on the column.

A peek inside Mar-a-Lago.

That nice looking spaniel has too much class to sully his home.

Hey don’t look at me – she has the treats!

Like all artists, Van Hoogstraten’s bound/

By the laws of perspective. He’s found/

That the lines must converge/

If he hopes to emerge/

Unbitten by yonder hound.

He’s a hypercritical hound -/

a dog who has been around:/

A beast recondite/

Who has every right/

To be prominent in the foreground.

Next on “Stupid Pet Tricks”, Cindy and her spaniel Prinz Eugen will do forced perspective.

Little Dogs Don’t Know They’re Little

There’s an awful lot of detail in that painting…compared to Vermeer’s “The Letter”.

That’s either a very large breed of dog or a very small breed of human.

“Are you SURE her letter was all the mail there was? I’m waiting for a box from Chewy.com.”
