Does it mean a “snow day” off from school? I can’t understand why the schools have to reopen for just two lousy days! Couldn’t they wait until Monday??

I wish we had 4 real seasons here, instead of furnace summers and dreary, damp winters. But, we must be grateful for what the Lord blesses us with.

If the schools are open, that will definitely be a snow day. Nowadays, they cancel school buses if there is so much as a whisper of snow if the forecast.

I don’t remember getting a snow day when I was young. The school bus company put chains on the tires. Now I think bus companies and towns are worried about being sued if a school bus slips and someone gets hurt.

Adam’s pretty chipper about it, I guess he’s gonna have Laura shovel the snow. After all, he works at home.

The coming white ought to thrill the greenies, natural food preservation. If overload comes, then ask the eastern U. S. (mountains included) about their fall and winter food supply (berries, grasses, fish, etc.) Nature alone doesn’t always solve everything. Hopefully a couple of days of extended holiday vacation. I remember those, snow cream.
