We might get some towards the end of the month, but rain comes in from the ocean and cold comes down from Canada; so they rarely meet. Itâs snowed once in the last five years, plus a really bad ice storm. It took 3-4 months to clean up the trees and branches.
I think they need to take snow coming down in Colorado and the Midwest and even the South to California for their wildfire. I know thatâs not possible. Just be great for everyone if it was.
That happened one day and we were sure the school would call a snow day. Instead, kids froze waiting for the busses and the Superintendent got a million calls from irate parents. He called a âsnow dayâ the next day when it was sunny! My kids had a blast building snow men and throwing snowballs. After that, snow days were called any time there was a flurry! Good news: lots of days off, bad news, make up days in May.

So far ony had snow one or two inches at a time, since the front of my house faces south it usually melts in a day.

No snow here in southern Maine but a wind that keeps the âfeels likeâ temperatures in the single numbers.
