Years later, Greg had a “you decide poll” over which guy Tiffany should chose: Gunther or Les Knox.

Gunther won by a considerable margin.

Anyone know if this survey is open for this year, or was it only in 1997? The dates mentioned fall on the days mentioned, Wednesday, March 5, Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20, in both 1997 and 2025. Just wonderin’ …

If Aaron doesn’t ask her to the dance and she turns down Gunther, she misses the dance. If she goes to the dance she can see who Aaron took instead of her. But when you’re at the dance you don’t have to dance every dance with the guy who brought you. Maybe she’d get a chance to dance with Aaron.

True story. A teacher was having lunch in the school cafeteria in earshot of some senior girls discussing their plans for the Senior Ball. One girl was talking about how much her limo cost – $400 for the night – and the gown – $700, and the . . . (at this point the teacher said, “I didn’t spend that much on my wedding!”) – To which the girl responded:

“You can have many weddings – but you only have one Senior Ball.”

I say go with Aaron. We know they never end up together, it never goes any further, but she doesn’t love Gun and we know she never will. From my exp, it is better to hold on to a dream (as long as you allow that dream to adapt and move on -to another person if need be) but never settle for what is ok. It sucks to love someone who doesn’t love you back, and it sucks to be loved by one you can’t love.I’m not saying it’s better to live w an unfulfilled dream than settle for reality, but don’t settle for what won’t make you happy. Find a different dream to persue.

Love the send in postcard to vote. Seems so odd today.
