Don’t pick your nose, don’t pick your toes. Toss the menu and out she goes.

If you eat very little, your body will think there’s a famine, and will slow down your metabolism, and you’ll stop losing weight.

I’ve heard (could this be true?) that it will draw nutrition from your muscle.

I for some years lived in a certain southern state (starts with a T) and none of the local women could order from a menu. We would sit there, everyone with a menu in hand, for minutes, then the wait person would come to take our orders, and these women would be all -“Oh, oh, I don’t know what I want, What are you getting.” “Ooh, ooh, I don’t know, what you are getting?” -And this would go on and on and I would want to scream. I actually did once.

I went to lunch at my favorite restaurant with seven co-workers; they complained that we had been sitting there too long and the waiter hadn’t been by to take our orders and we needed to get back to work, so I got up and found my favorite waiter and said come by, we need to order now. But then not one woman other than myself had a clue what she wanted, and I literally screamed at them, just lost it, I was so furious and embarrassed.

Oh wow, I’d lose my mind if I had to deal with someone who had this line of thinking. (◔_◔) Just order something healthy and eat less than usual. The weight will come off eventually.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! Have a great day, all!

I will admit that my family does the “what are you having” thing – including myself. However we spend less that a minute doing that and way before the server is ready to take our order. Funny how you can read an item in the menu and ignore it and then when someone says the item it sounds really good and you order it. Brains are strange things.

It has been a very exciting day. Just got back from my lawyer where I signed my career away – at least the career with the company I have been a 50% owner in since 2005. It feels really, really good. Tomorrow is my last official day then I celebrate. I will take a little time to catch up on personal projects but then I will take on some other jobs developing and maintaining software for other companies. 74 is way too young to retire. Besides, daytime television will rot your brain in less than 3 minutes and I like my brain functioning well.

    Enjoy this wonderful Thursday

imagine cathy living in the modern age of calorie menu labeling! there shouldn’t be so much pressure on food choices in public (or at all!) based on junk science used to sell poor self esteem. just let women order without performing food virtuosity!

OK, comic Cathy. The process goes like this:

    1. Pick a meal

    2. Open mouth and insert food

    3. Chew and swallow

    Easy-peasy, right? (◔_◔)
