Wonder if there are still ‘characters’ at concerts. Back in the early 70s, we had one guy that attended all the concerts that would be walking around wearing a maxi coat and top hat, carrying a live chicken in his arms, strange.
In 72 I was 10 years old. I don’t remember what year it was but when my family was on a drive one day, people were going wild in the streets! There were some youths even jumping on our car! I was having a blast but my mom was terrified! LOL. Nothing usually rattled her. Years later I found out it was because The Rolling Stones couldn’t make their concert for whatever reason and were later banned from performing in Vancouver
On Nov 15, 1964 (a day prior to my 11th birthday) I was stuck with my mom at a flower show in Chicago’s McCormick Place. The Stones were playing their first Chicago concert in the adjacent Aire Crown Theater, and you could barely hear the rumbling through the wall. So close, and yet so far!
It’s only Rock and Roll (but I like it), so many bands were so good then but I love guitar driven Rock more, from Jimi Hendrix, Tony Iommi and Jimmy Page were my earliest guitar heroes, Jeff Beck too for his many faceted music style.

Adrenalin. In the morning he will be groggy and his ears will be buzzing.

I love photos of old fans in the audience for old groups.

Just as every cop is a criminal and all the sinners saints
As heads is tails, just call me the president ‘cause I’m in need of some restraint.

Ben should have sprung for a new t-shirt at the concert. The pride of having seen them in 1972 is offset by his bellybutton on display. :D

I saw The Who a couple of years ago. Good show, lots of energy.
