Try regailing him with a yarn about you football skills, worth a pint or two.

Foiled again! Still. I suppose everyone has a dry spell.

You have to hand it to her, she is certainly a good judge of character.

I don’t hang out in bars. Is it a common thing for men to buy drinks for other men that they don’t know?

From the looks of her, that’s one reason, Andy. She’s pretty fugly and dresses funny. Dilly! Dilly!

Posh. Andy’s a lively fellow, not a layabout, at least when he’s not at home!

Way outta my comfort zone asking a complete stranger to buy me a beer.

Andy’s got it right, just not for the right reason, he seems right henpecked.
