It’s an old Joke. I heard it in the 80’s.

This is arguably outright plagiarism. Harry Shearer (Spinal Tap, the Simpsons) and David Lander (Lenny and Squiggy) did this routine as part of a comedy troupe called “the Credibility Gap” back in the 70s. It was featured in a 1977 movie, as well as on a comedy record, which was/is played regularly on the Dr Demento radio show.

As far as I can research quickly, Abbott and Costello first did this skit on radio in 1938.

After all these decades, I still would like to know who’s on first…LOL
