Long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away, I had ice skates. We lived on a lake in Iowa and it would freeze several feet thick in the winter so was skateable. Late one evening after a bit of a snow snifter had gone through, there was a thin coating of snow over the whole frozen lake surface and the skate blades would just silently cut through it. Getting up some speed and coasting along in the quiet evening twilight over the solid surface was a sensation I don’t think I’ll ever forget.

I could see him changing to tractor treads (? snow-cat?) in the snowy weather.
He probably has modular components.
What do they call those rubber belt tread things on snow machines?

Meddick’s art always brings a smile to my face. I love how that guy goes up the stairs.
